This policy explains how personal data is handled when you use the Android apps published by Melaverde on Google Play (the "Apps") and this website. It applies to all Melaverde apps listed on the home page.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Filippo Quattrocchi, trading as Melaverde, Italy.
Contact: melaverdeapps@gmail.com

2. Data we collect ourselves

None. The Apps do not require an account, do not ask for your name, email or phone number, and do not send any data to servers operated by Melaverde. The sounds play locally on your device.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use them only to reply to you and delete them when they are no longer needed.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Apps are free and show ads provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google Ireland Limited. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the AdMob SDK included in the Apps may automatically collect:

This data is processed by Google as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy. Melaverde does not receive this data in an identifiable form; we only see aggregated statistics (for example, total impressions and earnings).

Your choice about personalized ads

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Apps ask for your consent through Google's consent message before showing personalized ads. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalized ads, which rely on contextual information and limited data used for frequency capping, fraud prevention and measurement. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy option in the App (where available) or by reinstalling the App.

On any Android device you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path may vary by device).

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

5. Permissions

The Apps use only the Android permissions needed to work and to show ads, such as internet access and network state. If an App asks for an additional permission (for example, to save a sound as a ringtone), it is used only for that feature, and you can deny it from your device settings.

6. International transfers

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.

7. How long data is kept

Melaverde does not store data collected by the Apps. Data collected by Google AdMob is kept according to Google's retention policies. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

8. Children

The Apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to melaverdeapps@gmail.com. For data processed by Google, you can also use the tools at myaccount.google.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

10. This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools and does not load third-party content. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages: to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address in its server logs, as described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when an App adds a new feature or service. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
